Burren Hikes, Picnics

& Brunch Events

Join Siobhán Sloane of Essential Food Trails and Brónagh O’Rourke of Burren Farm Experience for a day of hiking, forest-bathing, lakeside yoga and a wholesome picnic on Saturday 12 September 2020 from 11am to 4pm.  Booking is through Eventbrite.

Enjoy forest-bathing, lakeside yoga, a wholesome farm picnic, fresh air, tranquility and laughter.

Combining my love of good food, hiking and yoga, I have teamed up with the O’Rourke Family Farm which sits in the Burren National Park to create a series of Wellness in Nature days.

We will guide you on a hike through parts of the 500acre farm following traditional trails through hazel woodland, grassland meadow and limestone pavement.  Spot the Burren wildflowers and orchids as you go. Find stillness in a hazel wood with forest-bathing, dip your toes into tranquil Lough Bunny, stretch out on limestone pavement with standing yoga poses. Enjoy a delicious farm picnic with lots of local produce.

It’s time to get out, breathe in the fresh air, appreciate the beautiful Burren landscape and reconnect with nature, yourself and friends.  All you need is good walking shoes & comfortable clothes.
